Hi, I’m Jenny! I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in mathematics, and the University of San Francisco with a Masters and teaching credential. I have taught high school math for 17 years. Over the years, I have also participated in many professional developments for curriculum design and instructional strategies.
My 16 years of teaching at large public high schools has covered a full range of courses from Algebra 1 through Precalculus. My teaching has covered both traditional and integrated math pathways. My instructional approach focuses on conceptual understanding, problem solving skills, and student engagement. I am currently teaching Integrated Math 2 (includes Geometry), Trigonometry, and Financial Algebra.
Throughout my career, I have taught students in grades 9-12 in a traditional classroom setting. I have experience working with a wide range of learners and a diverse population. My long-term commitment to teaching has given me a strong foundation in building student confidence and mathematical thinking.
