Hello,

I am Aed, a UCSD alumnus with a B.S. in Biology and minor in psychology. Currently a fourth year medical student at UCSD School of Medicine. I Scored in the 90th percentile in the Biological and Biochemical section of the MCAT and passed Step 1 exam.

Hello,

I am Aed, a UCSD alumnus with a B.S. in Biology and minor in psychology. Currently a fourth year medical student at UCSD School of Medicine. I Scored in the 90th percentile in the Biological and Biochemical section of the MCAT and passed Step 1 exam.

I have served as a TA for Human Physiology at UCSD for 2 consecutive years in addition to serving as General Chemistry tutor at high schools abroad, in Turkey. My methodology doesn't encompass simply solving problems for students nor rote memorization but encouraging critical thinking and analysis and enriching methods to apply knowledge to real life examples. I emphasize the use of drawings and what matters to me the most is delivering clear and concise information.

To me, teaching is extremely rewarding and I reach a great level of happiness and satisfaction when I help my fellow students meet their educational goals and earn the grades they aim for and more importantly, have a great understanding of the material.

Aed is an amazing tutor! He helped me out so much for when I was struggling with Human Physiology, and make sure to go step by step and answer any questions I had throughout the whole study session. He also offered me advice as a premed, which I found very very helpful. I highly recommend Aed as a tutor, and he also provides so much more resources as well and genuinely wants you to succeed!

Aed is sol helpful and takes time for you to gain a deeper understanding of Biochemistry. He is patient and will walk through each step to gain a full understanding of cycles (The citric acid, glycolysis etc.) He also ties it to teachings within medical school which is something I aspire to go through.
