During the DP step I instruct the proper use of the 7D DSLR camera which include proper framing of the scene, proper lighting, and proper mechanics like shutter speed and ISO. During the editing i teach the student proper cuts, blends and color balance of the media. During post production i teach the application of motion graphics. Learning from the beginning where you capture the media to the end where your export the media gives an editor a deeper ability to successfully edit and produce. I have the luxury of owning all the hardware and software needed to achieve the desired results of a well shaped editor.
