For over eight years, I’ve led workshops and one-on-one sessions with students of all ages, guiding them to become more organized, motivated, and self-assured learners. My tutoring style is encouraging, patient, and results-driven, focusing on practical tools that help students improve writing, study habits, and public speaking skills.
As a best-selling author of two self-published books, I bring real-world writing experience to every tutoring session. I make vocabulary fun and practical using conversation, storytelling, and real-life examples to help students truly own the words they learn. I’ve worked with middle school, high school, and college students, guiding them to improve not just their language skills, but their ability to express ideas clearly and confidently.
Before becoming a full-time coach, I spent 13 years in federal service with the Department of Defense, Department of the Army, and the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security experience which strengthened my professionalism, discipline, and ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.
