One of my proudest successes came during my time at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I mentored a fellow student with ADHD, autism, and executive functioning challenges. I dutifully and responsibly organized his due dates and tasks, and on the personal side, I reassured and inspired him to succeed. With a skillful mixture of soft and hard skills, I broke down barriers to his success, and enabled him to flourish.

He graduated with the very prestigious Computer Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His parents - who are distinguished professors and leaders in their fields - awarded me, after many raises, a final bonus, and wrote the following note:

“[Our son] has finished all requirements for his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science and is now a graduate! Your dedication, skills, insight, and patience over these past three years were a big factor in [our son’s] success. I was selected as a Residential Advisor with a full room-and-board stipend at UIUC's Beckwith Residential Community for students with significant support needs. I was immersed 18+ hours a week as a peer-leader amongst students whose conditions presented severe academic challenges. I facilitated activities of daily living, provided emotional care, and continually broke down barriers to their academic success, enabling them to reach their full potential in a rigorous academic environment.

I worked one-on-one with a distinguished professor’s son (at UIUC) who had ADHD and autism, and for over three years I dutifully organized his calendar and on the emotional side, provided him with constant encouragement and support. My service meant a lot to his parents and they gave me a raise every year as well as a final bonus when he successfully graduated and received a lucrative career offer. I continued working one-on-one with dozens of students online: with screen-sharing on, I organize their school portals, guide them to master time-blocking on Google calendar, and encourage them to complete assignments together with me. My unique mix of skills - writer, tutor, and personal assistant - makes me an effective executive function coach, and I would be honored to support your journey.

I use my years of experience at boutique college consulting firms to help students discover WOW-FACTOR essays, and keep the whole family updated on the progress. I successfully coached and worked with an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign who was diagnosed with ADHD and autism. Under my care over three years, he completed his Computer Science degree and landed a well-paying job at Amazon in Seattle. I received a raise each year as well as glowing recommendation letters from his parents, who described me as very dedicated, skilled, insightful, creative, and patient. I managed the student's due dates, motivated the student, and aided him in setting up good lifestyle and study habits, as well as developing a personal rapport.

It has only been a week since my son started seeing Vikram but he has accomplished so much in the past week! I'm amazed how Vikram can encourage him to stay on task while he's working on his homework. I was so hesitant to get him an executive functioning coach initially but am so glad I found Vikram! Great executive functioning tutor!

My son has had 2 lessons with Vikram and both have been great! My kid feel kind of discouraged and frustrated with school work on his own but he seems to feel really optimistic after his lessons. My kid needed someone to help him get organized and actually get the work done, and that’s exactly what we got!
