I’m a Biology graduate with a strong background in biology and chemistry, and I’ve spent several years helping high school and college students feel more confident in these subjects. I’ve worked mainly in one-on-one tutoring settings, supporting students in general biology, introductory and organic chemistry, and MCAT science content. Many of the students I work with come to me feeling overwhelmed, behind, or unsure of how to study effectively, especially when the material starts to feel dense or fast-paced. My goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students feel supported, understood, and able to ask questions without pressure.
My tutoring approach is highly individualized and focused on clarity. I start each session by identifying where confusion is happening, then break concepts down into simple, step-by-step explanations that make the material easier to follow and apply. I use practice problems, guided reasoning, and real examples to help students prepare for exams and strengthen problem-solving skills. Over time, I also help students develop better study strategies and confidence in their ability to learn independently. I aim to help students not only improve their grades, but also feel more capable and confident when approaching future biology and chemistry courses.
