Since graduating, I have traveled extensively throughout southeast Asia working as a STEM educator teaching engineering, science, and math to students of all ages. Bio:
I graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Wright State University in 2014. Since graduating, I have traveled extensively throughout southeast Asia working as a STEM educator teaching engineering, science, and math to students of all ages. My favorite subject is mathematics, especially high school and college level math. My students see, on average, a whole letter grade increase after working with me.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Program*:
I have over ten years of experience teaching Math SL and HL topics and I have prepared many students for their final DP Math exam. The final Math SL/HL exam covers topics from Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, Vectors, Statistics, Probability, and more. My students see, on average, a 1.5-point increase on their final exam.
*I am not currently teaching HL AI except for those topics covered in HL AA.

Internal Assessment (IA)
I am available to help with the Internal Assessment (IA) for mathematics. I have helped students in all stages, from coming up with an initial idea for their paper to extending their papers to meet page requirements. My students see on average a 2-point increase in their IA scores after working with me.

Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus AB/BC:
Calculus BC spends considerable time on Infinite and Power Series which IB does not. Other smaller topics covered in the BC curriculum are length of a curve, Polar Curves, and Improper Integrals. AB and BC also emphasize the MVT, IVT, EVT, and Riemann sums. My AP students see an average 1 point increase on their final exam.

C exposes enough of the way that computers think as well as having a simple, easy-to-understand syntax that makes it a wonderful introduction to computer programming for any age. Knowledgeable and patient tutor

My words are powerless to express how grateful I am to have found Renna. I was struggling immensely in my statistics course to point where I contemplated dropping the class all together. After I failed my first exam, I decided to seek out private tutoring. I'm elated to report that after one session with Renna, I passed my 2nd exam with a score of 98%. Knowledgeable and very helpful tutor

Maye helped my daughter a ton!! She is a junior in high school and needed help in algebra 2 last minute. Not only did Maye truly help her, but they made sure she understood the content and could actually do the work on her own. My daughter said she wants to work with Maye again and that she was very relieved to find a tutor that finally gets it. We are both so glad Maye was available tonight. We will be using Maye frequently this year.
