Hi! My name is Nelly. I work in higher education and for the past 10 years I have and continue to support prospective students through the college admissions process. I have earned a BA in Communication, minored in Digital and Social Media Studies and earned an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy. I have served as an advisor for students in college educational programs such as TRiO, EOP, and McNair Scholars and Student Life and Leadership. I have both community college and 4 year public and private collegiate work experiences. I have been a presenter and committee member for many corporate organizations for higher education such as NACA, NASPA, Utah NASPA and GMAC.

I specialize in college application essays, creative confidence, personal statements, and interview preparation. Whether you’re a high school senior applying for the first time or a current college student planning to transfer, I can help! I understand what colleges are looking for and more importantly, how to help students communicate their story in a way that stands out! I’ve reviewed over 100 college applications, coached students through interviews, and helped applicants strengthen their personal statements so they present themselves clearly and confidently to an admission committee. I provide structured, thoughtful feedback that helps you refine your ideas while keeping your authentic voice. My goal is not to rewrite your work, but to coach you through building a compelling, polished application you feel proud submitting.
