About Lauren

Bio

I received my Bachelor's of Science for Elementary Education and my Master's of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the Neag School of Education at UConn. I also taught abroad in London while earning my masters degree.

I taught for 9 years in 4th and 5th grade and did my student teaching in 1st grade. I have my English Learner Authorization and have experience working with a variety of students, including GATE and RSP. I love helping students challenge themselves, problem solve, set...

I'm currently an instructional coach for curriculum and instruction. I support TK-6th grade teachers, lead presentations and data meetings, and create standards based resources, lessons, and activities.

I have 9 years of experience teaching Common Core state standards for both ELA and math in grades 4-5. I currently work as an instructional coach where I work closely with Common Core standards to design curriculum and create activities for teachers in grades K-6.

I graduated with both my bachelors and masters in elementary education at UConn. I have many diverse experiences teaching students as I have completed student teaching, internships, clinical placements and currently work as a permanent building substitute. I have a 3.88 overall college GPA and therefore am capable of teaching personal and research based study skills.
