I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience across a range of subjects for students from K-12. In addition to this, I have been actively involved in volunteering with the South LA community, where I led group lifestyle medicine education sessions. This experience in a group setting allowed me to engage with a diverse audience, teaching key concepts of health and wellness.
As the chief editor of a national award-winning high school yearbook, I also teach writing, where I help students refine their writing skills, from composition, to editing and storytelling. Through these varied teaching experiences, I have gained a well-rounded perspective on how to support students in different contexts, whether in the classroom, one-on-one tutoring, or volunteer-driven educational initiatives.
