I have over 1500 hours of tutoring experience with over 200 students ranging in age from 8 years old to 50 years old. My most common subjects are statistics, psychology, and mathematics, typically at the high school or college level. I am very familiar with the SAT, ACT, and AP curriculums in these areas.

I graduated with high honors and a 3.97 GPA from UC Davis with a double major in Psychology and Statistics and a minor in Education. I received two outstanding performance awards for being one of the top students in each major. I am a current graduate student in the Graduate School of Management at UC Davis pursuing an MBA with expected graduation in June 2024.

My tutoring is entirely based on students’ needs and goals. I am very patient with students, and I try multiple approaches to each problem until we find one that works for the student. I try to make my sessions with students as efficient as possible, answering all specific questions while providing more context and practice beyond the scope of the assignment where it is necessary. I believe that all students can learn the subjects I tutor with adequate practice, and after meeting with me many students find that the course is more straightforward than they initially thought. Nothing brings me greater joy than seeing students learn to like a class that they have struggled with or get an A in a class they thought they would never pass.

I previously worked at UC Berkeley as an academic advisor at the Rausser College of Natural Resources. Through this position, I advised students on college preparation and transfer admissions, how to make the most of their college years, and effective resources and study skills to succeed at the university.

Please message me if you have any further questions about my background, course proficiency, or tutoring style. I look forward to talking with you soon.

Fabulous High Quality Tutor!

Anna was a real life saver! She is prompt in her replies and willing to step in a help right away! She explains the mechanics of statistical analysis in a way that accessible to a range of knowledge bases. She is patience and caring to ensure you fully understand what you need to know. She was also super helpful in helping to review and make helpful comments to a graduate level research paper (that incorporated stats). I can’t recommend her enough!

Anna was patient, kind and thoroughly reviewed the material with me to where I could understand what the questions meant ( via online). I highly recommend as I received a 4.8 out of 5 on my assignment! Should have kept question 4 as ordinal ;) I will definitely request again for future assignments!

Money well spent!!!!

When we began scheduling tutor sessions with Anna, I had been working with my son on his homework by myself when I could fit it in. He was getting A's on his homework, but getting F's on all his tests and quizzes. It was incredibly frustrating. He wasn't retaining ANY of the information from our lessons. But within weeks of his tutoring sessions with Anna, I received an email from his teacher saying how proud she was of him for the improvements he has been making, and the confidence and comfort he now exudes. He went from having an F in the class, to a B- in less than 2 months. I could not be more proud of his accomplishments, and I am 100% certain that he could not have done it without Anna's help! Thank you, Anna!!!
