Hi! I'm an Electrical Engineering major, which means math isn't just something I studied, it's the foundation of everything I do and the field I'm building my career in. I scored a 750 on the SAT math section and have spent years going deep into everything from algebra and precalculus all the way through the advanced math that comes with an EE curriculum. I'm genuinely comfortable across the full range of high school and early college math topics.

My teaching experience started in high school, where I led a study group of over 30 students consistently throughout all four years. That's not a small commitment, it meant showing up regularly, keeping students engaged, and figuring out how to explain the same concept five different ways depending on who was in the room. I worked with a huge range of learners through that group, and it gave me a strong sense of how to meet each student where they are rather than just delivering a one-size-fits-all explanation.
Beyond the group setting, I regularly worked one-on-one and in small groups with peers and younger students who had specific questions or were stuck on particular concepts. In those sessions I got used to slowing down, tracing a problem back to its roots, and walking through it from scratch until it made sense, not just for the homework, but for the next test and the course after that.
My goal is always to make sure a student actually leaves the session more capable, not just with the answer to tonight's problem. I'm easy to reach, flexible with approach, and happy to work around whatever a student needs. Feel free to send a message, I'd love to help!
