As a tutor I am very patient and excel in providing alternative perspectives and explanations. I tend to gravitate towards the "I do, we do, you do" approach to teaching, as I find it reduces cognitive overloading, prevents students from learning (and then having to unlearn) misconceptions, and provides a gentler introduction to new or confusing topics. If you would prefer a different approach just let me know, I am always open to feedback on how I can improve your experience as a math learner.
I have tutored several students over the past year before joining Wyzant, ranging from Algebra and Precalculus, all the way to advanced undergraduate math such as Real Analysis.
