I bring an interdisciplinary background to tutoring, with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and my current pursuit of a JD. Over the past eight years, I have provided private tutoring for K–12 students in a wide range of subjects, including elementary reading, writing, science, and math; middle school reading, writing, pre-algebra, science, and Spanish; and high school English, Spanish, writing, biology, and precalculus. In addition, I served as a teaching assistant through my university’s honors program for six semesters, where I received extensive training on adapting lessons to different learning styles. I also completed a semester-long tutoring course in college to further refine my teaching techniques and better meet the needs of each student I work with.
My two tutoring passions are writing and microbiology. During my undergraduate studies, I conducted microbiology research in the lab and had the privilege of publishing my work with the American Society for Microbiology. That experience not only deepened my love for science but also strengthened my ability to explain complex material clearly and effectively. Now, as a law student, I have had the opportunity to further refine my reading and writing skills, giving me additional tools to help students develop strong analytical and communication abilities.
At the heart of my tutoring approach is a genuine love for teaching and for helping students discover confidence in their own abilities. I enjoy working with children of all ages and find joy in sharing my enthusiasm for learning. My goal is not only to support students academically but also to inspire the next generation of scholars to approach education with curiosity, perseverance, and excitement.
