I am graduating from the University of California, Davis in September 2025 with a double major in Biological Sciences and Linguistics. My academic training has given me a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, and mathematics, while my work in linguistics has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles. In high school I also completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program with top scores (Biology HL 7, Chemistry HL 7, Math SL 7), which enables me to support students preparing for IB coursework and exams.
I have three years of tutoring experience at the UC Davis Academic Assistance and Tutoring Center, where I worked one-on-one and in group setting with undergraduates in biology, chemistry, and math. During this time, I earned certification as a Level 1 ITTP tutor. In addition, I have experience tutoring middle and high school students, providing both academic support and enrichment beyond the classroom.
My tutoring approach is patient, structured, and personalized. I focus on making learning clear and approachable by breaking down complex material into manageable steps and encouraging active problem-solving. Whether students are catching up, preparing for exams, or seeking to excel beyond their coursework, I provide guidance that improves academic performance while also building lasting confidence and study skills. I am passionate about teaching and committed to supporting every student’s success.
