Since graduating, I split my time evenly between Ecology field work and private tutoring at the K-12 level. I settled in Davis in 2022 where I now work as a youth instructor at the local climbing gym and for the Scouts of America. In the wake of Covid, many children have fallen behind in every subject while older students have become overly dependent on AI programs like chatGPT. I have had a great success in getting younger students up to and beyond grade level in reading and math. With older students, I have helped numerous kids gain confidence in their writing and studying skills rather than resorting to AI and plagiarism. Through tutoring, I have found so much joy in helping my students and their families find academic success and stability and I hope you will give me the opportunity to do the same for yours!
