This includes appointments at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NY), Drexel University (PA), the University of the Pacific, and University of California Davis. Currently, my main academic appointment is with Drexel University, teaching online courses in statistics, data analytics, and operations management. At UC Davis, I am a lecturer in the Graduate School of Management (GSM), teaching data analytics and operations management in its part-time MBA programs. I also teach the MBA Math Camp classes for the UC Davis GSM.
My background in applied statistics is particularly strong, with related industrial experience in quality engineering and applying statistics to real-life industrial problems. I have extensive experience teaching business students (BS, MS and MBA programs), engineering students (MS Medical Device Engineering), and undergraduate business students.
I earned degrees in industrial engineering (Ph.D.), engineering management (M.S.), and mechanical engineering (B.S.), and I am a certified 'Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt' (essentially, this is an approach to process improvement and cost reduction that relies on data collection and analytics).
