Hi everyone! My name is Mo, and I am an incoming medical student (2026 entering class) with over six years of tutoring experience in math, science, writing, interviewing, and the premed pathway. I earned my degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from UC Davis with a 3.93 GPA and will be matriculating at Boston University School of Medicine (anticipated). I have received multiple medical school acceptances and interviewed at Top-20 medical schools, giving me firsthand insight into competitive admissions.

I have taught students from middle school through college through one-on-one tutoring, as a Mathnasium instructor (Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry), and as a learning assistant in chemistry and genetics. I have also worked extensively with homeschooled students, creating personalized curricula and pacing to build strong foundations and confidence. My students appreciate my ability to break down complex concepts and teach strategies they can apply independently.

For premed students, I offer support with MCAT preparation, course planning, personal statements and secondary essays, and interview preparation. Having completed 48 secondary applications myself, I help students approach the process with structure, clarity, and confidence.

I believe learning should be supportive, structured, and empowering. My goal is to help students truly understand the material, communicate effectively, and feel confident in their academic and application journeys.

Approved Subjects

Chemistry

Chemistry

I tutored multiple AP and Honors chemistry students and have been a tutor in the subject for 4 years.
College Counseling

College Counseling

I am an incoming medical student who received multiple acceptances and completed over six interviews, giving me firsthand insight into what successful applicants do well. At UC Davis, I worked as a Peer Advisor where I guided new college students through course planning, academic decisions, and long-term preparation strategies. Beyond that role, I have privately mentored several pre-med and college students, helping them craft compelling essays, refine their personal narratives, and plan competitive extracurricular paths. My advising style focuses on understanding each student’s background so we can build applications that feel authentic, strategic, and polished.
Farsi

Farsi

I am a native Farsi speaker from Iran with experience teaching the language to students of different ages and backgrounds. My tutoring focuses on helping students build confidence in speaking, reading, and understanding everyday conversational Farsi. I also teach grammar and pronunciation in simple, practical ways that match each student’s goals. Whether a student is learning for travel, family, or academic purposes, I create a supportive environment that makes learning Farsi clear and enjoyable.
Interview Prep

Interview Prep

I specialize in interview preparation for pre-med, medical school, and professional-school applicants, drawing on my own experience completing the full application cycle with multiple interviews and acceptances. I have coached four students so far—three pre-med applicants and one veterinary-school applicant—and each of them performed successfully in their interviews. My approach focuses on helping students craft responses that authentically reflect their story, background, and motivations, so their answers feel genuine and memorable. I also provide detailed critique on structure, delivery, and small habits that shape an interviewer’s impression, combining clear frameworks with targeted practice to help students build confidence and excel.
MCAT

MCAT

I earned a 514 on the MCAT with section scores of 130 in Chem/Phys, 129 in Bio/Biochem, and 131 in Psych/Soc, giving me a strong command of the science content and reasoning required for high performance. At UC Davis, I taught chemistry and genetics as a Learning Assistant, which helped me develop a clear, logical approach to explaining difficult material. I have guided pre-med students through personalized study plans, passage-based strategies, and timing techniques that lead to measurable score improvement. My tutoring focuses on understanding each student’s background so we can target weaknesses directly and build confidence for exam day.

Very personable and friendly tutor with good skill

I listened as Mo was interacting with my son in 7th grade. The session was live, dynamic and engaging. Not monotone or monologues. Mo can also relate to the student in order to motivate them and help them better grasp the subject.
