Hi everyone! My name is Mo, and I am an incoming medical student (2026 entering class) with over six years of tutoring experience in math, science, writing, interviewing, and the premed pathway. I earned my degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from UC Davis with a 3.93 GPA and will be matriculating at Boston University School of Medicine (anticipated). I have received multiple medical school acceptances and interviewed at Top-20 medical schools, giving me firsthand insight into competitive admissions.
I have taught students from middle school through college through one-on-one tutoring, as a Mathnasium instructor (Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry), and as a learning assistant in chemistry and genetics. I have also worked extensively with homeschooled students, creating personalized curricula and pacing to build strong foundations and confidence. My students appreciate my ability to break down complex concepts and teach strategies they can apply independently.
For premed students, I offer support with MCAT preparation, course planning, personal statements and secondary essays, and interview preparation. Having completed 48 secondary applications myself, I help students approach the process with structure, clarity, and confidence.
I believe learning should be supportive, structured, and empowering. My goal is to help students truly understand the material, communicate effectively, and feel confident in their academic and application journeys.
