I am an elementary teacher with two special education credentials and a master's degree, and have worked as a full-time teacher for eleven years. I am currently working as a resource specialist in an elementary school setting. This means that I work on learning goals with students who have been identified as having special needs, but are in the general education setting for the majority of their school day.

I also tutor students after school and on weekends. Some of these students have been identified as having special needs, and need some extra help keeping pace with their school expectations. Some of these students have not be identified as special needs, but need some extra help with understanding concepts taught in school.

Listed here are the subjects I can teach, and some of the programs I have experience with using.

*Reading Accuracy/Word Recognition/Decoding/Spelling (Reading A to Z/Headsprout, Sound Partners, Rewards, Wilson Fundations, Wilson Just Words, Logic of English, and Barton (coming soon)).

*Reading Comprehension (Reading A to Z/Headsprout, Read Naturally, ReadTheory, ReadWorks)

*Reading Fluency (Six Minute Solution)

*Writing (Step Up To Writing)

*Math (Math Expressions, Eureka Math, TouchMath, Zearn, Khan Academy, Springboard Math, GO Math)

I do have some weekday availability in the Danville/San Ramon area only, but space is limited. I have more open availability on the weekends. I can also meet with students who live outside this area if families are willing to meet me at the San Ramon Library. Please contact me for further information or questions.

Thank you!
