Bio

Hi, my name is Kalvin and I have a Master's and Bachelor's in Biotechnology, a Bachelor's in Microbiology and Immunology, and a minor in Spanish from UNR. I currently work as a researcher and have extensive experience tutoring AP, nursing, med-school, and graduate school level microbiology, chemistry, and molecular biology. Hi, my name is Kalvin and I have a Master's and Bachelor's in Biotechnology, a Bachelor's in Microbiology and Immunology, and a minor in Spanish from UNR. I currently work as a researcher and have extensive experience tutoring AP, nursing, med-school, and graduate school level microbiology, chemistry, and molecular biology. I love helping students catch up to their peers, develop a greater sense of personal and academic confidence, and get ahead in their classes.

I assist with academic coursework developing study strategies. I can assess your learning style and needs, and teach you how to make the most of your work time. During our first few sessions, I will gauge your understanding and difficulties so that we can set goals together to structure our subsequent sessions.
