AP LITERATURE AND COMPOSITION / AP LANGUAGE AND COMPOSITION
As a Writing Tutor selected by AP English Language and Composition teacher at Monta Vista High School. I have experience closely tutoring 7 students throughout the writing process. I directly collaborated with English Department to grade student work and facilitate discussions, as well as gave extensive written feedback to improve work, providing 1-on-1 sessions upon request. I've personally received 5s on both AP Lit and Lang, so I'm quite familiar with the testing format, as well as various tips and tricks that can make the whole process easier.
COLLEGE ESSAY EDITING
College essay coaching is a major interest of mine. My students have successfully won scholarships and gotten acceptances to top colleges including UCLA, Berkeley, USC, Barnard (Columbia), Northeastern, and so much more! I have worked also extensively with students seeking to transfer colleges, and I'm very familiar with the undergrad application process, the Common Application Essay, the UC system, and the values of many colleges throughout the country.
