I specialize in middle school math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra I. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand why a method works rather than simply memorizing steps. I break difficult concepts into manageable pieces, identify gaps in foundational skills, and use guided practice to help students become more confident and independent problem solvers.
I especially enjoy working with students who feel that math is confusing or who understand concepts in class but struggle to apply them independently.
