I have a Specialist Degree in Physics and Mathematics from Ternopil V. Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University in Ukraine, where I completed a strong academic foundation in mathematics, physics, and analytical problem-solving. My education provided me with a deep understanding of core mathematical concepts, which I continue to use in both my professional and tutoring work. I am fluent in Ukrainian and Russian, and I have an intermediate level of English, which I use daily in a professional environment in the United States.
I have several years of experience working in education and structured learning environments. Currently, I work as an Office Administrator at Russian School of Math in the Bay Area, where I have been supporting students, parents, and instructors for the past two years. In this role, I am closely involved in the academic process and student progress tracking, which gives me insight into common learning challenges students face in math. Previously, I also worked in web development for several years, which strengthened my analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to explain complex concepts in a structured and logical way.
In addition to my current role, I am now actively building my tutoring practice and working with students through online platforms such as tutors.com and Wyzant. My approach is patient, structured, and focused on building a strong conceptual foundation rather than memorization. I work with students of different ages, primarily middle school and high school level, and I adapt my explanations to their individual learning style. I aim to help students gain confidence in math by breaking down difficult topics into clear, understandable steps and encouraging independent thinking.
