Excellent Tutor
Maddie gave really helpful tools to my kids to help them with some French lessons they were absent for at school. She was well prepared and made my kids feel more confident and up to speed with verbal, written French directions skills and with some grammar lessons as well. She is excellent as a French tutor!

Engaging, prepared and adaptable
Maddy introduced our two boys, ages 6 and 8, to French over a few lessons. Her approach was thoughtful, and had the right mix of formal instruction and games. Rather than be eager to end each session, they wanted to extend an extra half hour. Also, the enthusiasm from the lessons carried through to the days in between, where they practiced vocabulary and the phrases they learned. We thought teaching the two boys at once would be a challenge, but with Maddy it seemed to work out very well.

Maddy has been tutoring my 10 yr. old son for a number of months now. He is working on focus and Maddy makes the lessons interesting by introducing games and competition into them. She is incredibly prepared and able to navigate whatever is happening in the lesson to help him progress. She's wonderful!

We went over prepositions, vocabulary, conjugations, etc. Maddy was extremely patient with me and very encouraging— she really took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and explain everything.
