I am an expert educator with over a decade of experience as a tutor and classroom teacher. I earned a BA in Music from the University of Miami and began my career as a music educator, where I learned how to meet students where they are and address their specific needs.

I am an expert educator with over a decade of experience as a tutor and classroom teacher. I earned a BA in Music from the University of Miami and began my career as a music educator, where I learned how to meet students where they are and address their specific needs.

Now I’m in pursuit of my own legal education. In preparation, I studied the LSAT with the same focus and discipline I’ve always expected from my students, and ultimately earned a 176. This is a learnable test. I know that from experience, because I learned it myself through self-guided study.

I don’t believe in gimmicks or jargon. My approach is about clarity and simplification: pulling back the curtain on this exam and showing that it’s not as mysterious or intimidating as it looks. Any student can make huge progress with the right kind of deliberate practice. I pay close attention to what a student truly understands and where their reasoning starts to slip, then build a specific plan to close that gap. Every session has a purpose, and progress is measurable.

My students appreciate direct feedback and clear explanations. I’m patient, honest, and serious about results. If you’re willing to put in the work, I’ll help you think through this test with precision and confidence.

Guitar

I have played guitar since I was a child. I studied music at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. I have taught guitar lessons since college and worked with over 100 students from young child to adult.

LSAT

When I initially took the LSAT diagnostic, I got a 152. I spent the next year studying. I lived and breathed the exam, using numerous methodologies and programs. Ultimately, I ended scoring a 176. I am proof that this test is LEARNABLE. It is not a measure of innate ability, and anyone who studies the right way can improve their score. I have tutored and taught for over 13 years with students of various ages. Much of my early teaching experience involved working with young children, which helped me appreciate the value of simple, clear explanations even (and especially) when it comes to complex subject matter.

Amazing tutor

Xander is an amazing tutor. He’s not only incredibly knowledgable about the test, but he is really good at pinpointing patterns and habits you may have and personally tailoring a study plan for you to combat bad habits. He’s also incredibly empathetic, understanding, accommodating, and genuinely a kind human being that approaches tutoring in a personal and productive way.

Great Teacher

He genuinely cares about making sure you understand the questions and the concepts not just memorizing steps. He is incredibly patient and explains things in a way that actually makes sense. I’ve appreciated his support and guidance throughout my prep.

Knowledgeable, kind, and patient tutor

I took the October 2025 LSAT and did not do as well as I had hoped. Therefore, I decided to take the November test in hopes of scoring at least a 164. With less than two weeks to prepare, Xander was able to tutor me several times and explain how to approach questions like a LSAT top scorer. He was always ready to answer questions, helped assign homework to hone my skills, and genuinely cared about my success. I would 100% suggest him to anyone who is looking to improve their LSAT scores.
