My preferred approach to teaching introductory statistics is conceptual, emphasizing the understanding of statistical ideas rather than memorization. Once statistical concepts are understood, the formulas and procedures make sense. I can help students carry out statistical procedures and interpret output from statistical programs such as SPSS, SAS, Stata, and R.
