I hold a Master’s degree in Crosscultural Teaching from National University, San Diego, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. With a Preliminary Tier 1 Administrative Services Credential and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with CLAD (Crosscultural Language and Academic Development) certification, I am well-prepared to meet the diverse needs of students.

With over 20 years of experience in education, I have taught students in grades 1-8, fostering social, emotional, and academic growth through engaging, standards-based learning experiences. My teaching strategies include multisensory approaches, project-based learning, and technology integration, ensuring that every child learns in a way that resonates with them. I excel at conducting initial assessments to create individualized learning plans tailored to each student’s unique needs, and I’m always ready to jump in and assist with ongoing assignments.

I have a strong track record of working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds. My specialties include reading remediation for learners of all ages, as well as elementary writing and math remediation, acceleration, and enrichment. I employ explicit, systematic, evidence-based strategies that empower all learners to achieve academic success. As a credentialed multi-subject educator, I provide tutoring in all K-6 content areas, and I also offer kindergarten-readiness tutoring to ensure young learners have a positive start to their educational journey.

I am passionate about creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive. I look forward to partnering with you to help your child reach their fullest potential!
