I am May, born and raised in China, and have moved to America since 2017. I speak fluently in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English. I am very friendly, patient, punctual and responsible. Hello and welcome to my class!
I am May, born and raised in China, and have moved to America since 2017. I speak fluently in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English. I am very friendly, patient, punctual and responsible. I love teaching and I believe each learner is special and I tailor the class to suit each student or group for helping them effectively improve and get the best outcome.
I was trained to teach both English and Chinese. I have taught the students from 7th grade to 9th grade in China for about 5 years from 2011 to 2016. I have over 7 years of professional English teaching experience in the US since 2017. I help the students of different levels from preschool to 6th grade with their vocabulary, phonics, copy work, handwriting, grammar, and reading. On teaching Chinese, I have taught hundreds of students at different ages from 3 to 75 years old. They are from different countries including US, Britain, New Zealand , Australia, Germany, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Italy and France. I help them with pinyin, tone and pronunciation, Chinese characters, daily conversation, grammar, reading and writing, Business Chinese, HSK test prep, and AP.
I also love making crafts with my students, ranging from simple paper, beads, yarn and painting projects to genius recycling ideas that make the most of what they've got, some of them were sold for fundraising.
