Hello! My name is Tim. When I was in college I tutored in the library and found out that I liked it and wanted to become a teacher! This was in 1980. I graduated from the University of California at Riverside in 1983 with a degree in Chemistry and a teacher credential. I have taught science and math in grades 7 through 12. Most recently I taught high school Chemistry and Pre-Engineering.

Tim was extremely helpful in preparing my high school sophomore for her Chemistry test. Tim patiently worked through the content while offering helpful tips to explain difficult concepts. They covered the electromagnetic spectrum, wavelengths, and frequencies, calculating frequency given the wavelength, the photoelectric effect of light, and finding electron configurations.
