I have been a tutor since age 21 when I tutored undergraduate and graduate students while I was a senior level student at UCSB. In addition, I also have been a behavior instructor for individuals age 2-21 when I finished my undergraduate year, and I was also an ESL teacher. Finally, I have gone back to earn my teacher's credential and master's degree in English, and I currently teach middle and high school-age students. I really love watching students light up when they learn, "Wow! That was really fun!", and I hope to emulate that for every student I reach.
I like to keep YOU, the learner, in mind when I am teaching, and so I will relate our learning back to your daily life, and I like to ask many questions to make sure I am hearing you right.
I have a love and passion for writing and music, and I have been doing both since I was a child. I hope to bring this passion to our teaching together!
