English & ESL Educator with 12 Years of Global Classroom Experience

Eva C.

Hello! I’m Eva. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition, which I completed in Australia. Studying abroad and later working in different cities has given me a strong understanding of how students from diverse backgrounds learn, communicate, and grow. I’ve spent over 10 years teaching full time in both public and international schools in Hong Kong, and later continued my teaching career in Taiwan, where I also began teaching online. I now reside in Los Angeles and work as a private tutor offering both online and in-person lessons.

I specialize in English, ESL, and Music Composition. My teaching approach is student centered, patient, and structured. I introduce each topic in a clear and engaging way, provide explicit instruction, and always leave time for guided practice so students can apply what they’ve learned. I enjoy adapting my lessons to different learning styles and creating materials that make learning enjoyable, practical, and confidence building.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with learners of all ages, from young students to adults, and I understand the importance of meeting each student where they are. Whether you’re improving your English communication skills or developing your musical creativity, I aim to make every lesson meaningful, supportive, and tailored to your goals.

I offer a brief consultation to understand your needs and learning objectives. I kindly ask for advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling, and I’m easy to reach and respond quickly. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson. I look forward to supporting your learning journey.
