I am a certified Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and a Master’s degree candidate in Integrated Circuit Design at UCLA, with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley. My academic training includes advanced circuit design, robotics, embedded systems, and programming in Python, C++, and MATLAB. Professionally, I have worked on projects in semiconductor memory technology, robotics, and biomedical devices, collaborating with leading research labs and engineering teams. These experiences give me the ability to connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications in a way that is both engaging and practical.

I have over five years of teaching and tutoring experience in STEM subjects. For the past two years, I have been a remote instructor at Think Academy, preparing middle school students for AMC 8 math competitions. While at UC Berkeley, I served as a teaching assistant in physics, robotics, and computer science for three years, working with students from middle school through college. My experience spans classroom instruction, small group workshops, and one-on-one sessions, and I tailor my lessons to each student’s unique learning style and goals.

My approach is to break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps, using examples, diagrams, and real-world scenarios to reinforce understanding. I believe in fostering a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing problem-solving skills. Whether your goal is to improve grades, prepare for a competition, or master engineering concepts, I will work with you to build both knowledge and confidence.

Approved Subjects

AMC (Competition math)

AMC (Competition math)

I have over five years of experience teaching and tutoring math, including two years as a remote instructor at Think Academy, where I prepared middle school students for the AMC 8 competition. My students have successfully strengthened problem-solving skills and improved competition scores through targeted practice and strategy sessions. I focus on building both speed and accuracy, teaching students how to break down complex problems into manageable steps. With my engineering background from UC Berkeley and current master’s studies at UCLA, I bring both depth of knowledge and an engaging approach to competition math training.
Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

I am an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and a Master’s degree candidate in Integrated Circuit Design at UCLA, with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley. I have worked on advanced projects in circuit design, embedded systems, and signal processing, collaborating with both research labs and industry leaders. In addition to my professional experience, I have over five years of teaching and tutoring in STEM subjects, including university-level physics, robotics, and programming. My approach blends strong theoretical foundations with hands-on applications, ensuring students not only understand core concepts but also gain practical problem-solving skills.
Robotics

Robotics

I am an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and a Master’s degree candidate in Integrated Circuit Design at UCLA, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley. I have three years of experience as a robotics teaching assistant at UC Berkeley, where I guided students in ROS programming, kinematics, path planning, and computer vision for platforms such as Sawyer robots and Turtlebots. My professional projects include designing robotic arms, implementing embedded control systems, and integrating sensors for autonomous navigation. I emphasize a hands-on, project-based approach, helping students gain both theoretical understanding and practical skills to confidently build and program robotic systems.
