(1) As a native Mandarin speaker from China, I attained proficiency Grade One on the National Mandarin Proficiency Test, which is the requirement for TV hosts and Mandarin teachers in China.
(2)I acquired two Master Degrees which related to Teaching Chinese as an International Language, and Chinese Language and Literature from Hong Kong.
(3) I am a registered teacher in Hong Kong.I have over ten years teaching experience at a well-known IB school in Hong Kong .
(4)I also got University teaching experience in Hong Kong and US.
(5)I believe that every student is capable of learning when their interest is stimulated, when they are given appropriate guidance and opportunities to develop confidence, and when they are constantly encouraged. I have received very positive feedback from students that they became more interested and confident in learning Mandarin and had great fun in my lessons.
(6) I was born in Northern China but grew up in Southeast China, before studying and working in Hong Kong. Due to this, I am quite familiar with the diverse dialects and cultures within Mainland China as well as Hong Kong. I love to share these cultures with my students, and I believe my experiences make lessons more interesting.
