My name is Musa. I’m a pharmacist by education and a scientist by profession. Hello everyone,

My name is Musa. I’m a pharmacist by education and a scientist by profession. I currently lead the Manufacturing Scientist Team at Polypeptide Biopharmaceuticals, where I specialize in the production of synthetic peptide and oligonucleotide medications. From 2019 to 2023, I also taught the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) prep course at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Pharmacy.

For nearly 14 years, I’ve worked as a private tutor, specializing in a wide range of subjects including FPGEE preparation, Biology (Honors, AP, college level), Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry (Honors, AP, college level), Organic Chemistry, Pharmacology/Pharmacotherapy, Toxicology/Forensics, and Arabic. I’ve helped both high school and college students build confidence and mastery in these areas.

I understand that subjects like biology, chemistry, and pharmacology can seem overwhelming due to the volume of information. But with a strong grasp of core principles, studying becomes far more manageable. My teaching approach is centered on building a strong foundation first. Once those fundamentals are solid, I continuously refer back to them, ensuring long-term retention and deeper understanding—rather than short-term memorization.

I lived for almost 26 years in Jordan, so Arabic is my first language. In addition to that, I used to teach Arabic for Foreigners in my country at all levels for reading, listening, speaking and writing. I also taught advanced Arabic I and Advanced writing for Arab students.

I've specialized in carbon chains, structural isomers, functional groups and their relative reactions (SN1, SN2, E1and E2) in addition to many other topics.

I've been a tutor for almost 4 years in the subject matter related to Pharmacology/ Pharmacotherapy/ Biopharmaceuticals/ Immunology/ Medicinal Chemistry/ Instrumental Pharmacy/ Physical Chemistry.

brings AP Bio concepts to life in an entertaining and clear way

Musa's been really helpful to my daughter who is an experiential learner and is/was struggling with a flipped classroom, where all lectures are watched at home on video. She was feeling like she was self-studying the entire AP Bio curriculum. As someone who learns best by asking questions as the concepts are presented, my daughter is way less confused, thanks to Musa's colorful examples and fun personification of complex biological processes.
