My teaching experience includes 1 semester at James Christian Academy implementing the Accelerated Christian Curriculum, 3 years of kindergarten, 2 years of 1st grade, 1 semester of 2nd grade, and 1 semester of K/lst combo in Compton Unified School District and Long Beach Unified School District. This includes teaching the subjects in the K-6 curriculum which includes reading, phonics, writing, math, social studies, history, and science. I was also one of the teachers who piloted the Open Court Language Arts Curriculum in Compton Unified School district. I was also teacher on Special Assignment while in this district. My duties included pulling students who needed extra help in language Arts and Math.

I have substitute experience in the following school districts: Chino Valley Unified, Corona-Norco Unified, Riverside Unified, Val Verde Unified, and Hardy Brown College Prep Charter School in San Bernardino. My substitute teaching experience covers preschool through 12th grade in almost every subject area, including but not limited to: math, reading, phonics, spelling, English, English Language Development (ELD), English Second Language (ESL), Read 180, Resource Specialist, Various levels of Special Ed, US History, World History, Biology, Anatomy, Earth Science, Physical Science, Music, Performing Arts, and literature.
