Hi, my name is Pakeeza and I am a dedicated tutor with six years of experience in teaching English Language and Literature. With a 120-hour TEFL certification and an academic background in English Language and Communication with Psychology, I am well-equipped to help my students strengthen their foundation in English Grammar, to widen their choice of vocabulary and to sharpen their effectiveness in different writing styles through critical thinking and comprehension skills. I have also had the opportunity of helping students in preparing for school assessments and standardized tests like IELTs, TOEFL and proficiency tests like OET, whereby they practice real exam-like questions with detailed feedback. By interpreting and employing different literary devices along with rich historical contexts, I have also enjoyed working with English Literature students at both middle-school and High-school level.

I work with a range of age groups- which includes kids as young as 7, middle-school students, high-school students as well as adults and professionals. I ensure that I provide a facilitating, interactive and motivating environment for my students where they learn how to think and not just memorize to write. With a background in Counselling and Psychology, I adjust my teaching style to the personality and pace of my students to help them become confident in independent.
