Math has always been my favorite subject and I know it can be incredibly difficult at times for students to grasp mathematical concepts especially when school moves so quickly. I like to take my time with students and get real practice in order to make sure that the core ideas we review stick with them. I like having fun while teaching! I encourage students to put their own twist on concepts to remember them easier. I do everything I can to make sure kids feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. It's all part of the process!
I've been tutoring for the last 2 years. I've taught students ranging from elementary school to high school. I stay consistent to having one-on-one sessions with students through Zoom but am open to having in-person meetings.
I love to see students grow, learn, and find confidence in their skills! I am open to speaking with parents about what works best for their child and how I can improve my own lessons so I can connect with their kids on a better level.
