Knowledgeable and experienced tutor
Years ago I used dBase at work and have wanted to learn to do the same things with VBA and SQL. Not sure why: employment, intellectual curiosity... It is a lot harder than I expected. I have been working on some programs that I originally wrote in dBase on and off for over a year. Recently, Pete has been helping correct the code and syntax and making suggestions. I think I finally have enough examples now to work with. No question that Pete knows the subject. He may not be used to working with people who have no basic training in VBA because his explanations do go over my head at times. But I would highly recommend him to anyone who has some knowledge of VBA. Plus he is a very nice person.

Great Tutor - Very Helpful, so be ready to learn a lot!
Pete is helping me significantly improve both my Access database plus my knowledge of VBA... He's great at using a 'step by step' type of approach for each task so that we can first 'see' what the results of the code will be before methodically move to the next level of complexity. This approach clearly shows his respect for both the student's need to learn plus the intricacies of good programming style. His extensive wealth of knowledge & experience with programming & Access is evident and, happily, he's willing to share as much of it as any student can absorb!
