In the industry Dennis has over 10 years experience as a director, editor and writer. As a University undergrad, Dennis co-wrote and co-directed a nationally distributed western feature film. He immediately followed that up by writing and directing the Splinter Cell: Extinction Web Series for IGN, which featured a climatic helicopter boat chase sequence. Dennis recently directed the independent feature film THORP, available on Amazon Prime, and Rumors of War, a high concept short made in collaboration with Skywalker Sound and the indigenous people of New England. He is passionate about giving back to his alma mater, conducting camera and lighting workshops for film students whenever possible. As an active collaborator, Dennis values building lasting and deep, creative relationships with the artists he works with.

I've worked with students and faculty at Fairfield University for over 10 years, helping them with film studies and conducting individual camera, lighting, sound and editing workshops. I've directed and edited two feature films. Directed and edited dozens of short form narrative and docu-style projects for production companies, news outlets, and non profit companies. My production company 2Tiny Entertainment has one feature on Amazon Prime and we are currently developing several new projects.

About video: Knows His Stuff!

If you want to up your game at filmmaking, Dennis is your guy. In our last session he showed me how to adjust the camera settings to get crisper footage of swallows in flight. Capturing such swift birds in focus is no mean feat. I asked him to look at some of my YouTube movies and critique my film style; I thought all his comments nailed it. Whether it's how to work the camera more effectively or how to edit footage to get the best final product, his knowledge about cameras and his sense of film making style have been just what I needed.

By far the best tutor for film

I can already tell i’m going to want 1-2 classes per week minimum with him just after 30 minutes of the first class. Not only is he easy to talk to but he will break down exactly what you want to learn and how to go about jump starting your career. I can’t wait to see what we have in store for the future of this training.

Super knowledgeable and so helpful to my business!

Dennis was hands down the most helpful and informative tutor I've had. He quickly figured out what I was doing wrong with my photo set-up and editing... and with his help, he changed the game completely. He's patient and thorough and I've already learned SO much in two sessions. Forever grateful for his advice and can't wait to learn more
