Hi there! My name is Tasneem, and I’m a lifelong scientist with a strong passion for STEM education; especially when it comes to helping young learners grow confident in subjects like math, chemistry, and microbiology. I believe that curiosity is one of the most powerful tools a student can have, and my goal as a tutor is to nurture that curiosity while building strong foundational skills.

I hold a degree in Microbiology with extensive coursework in chemistry, algebra, and the life sciences. Professionally, I’ve worked in laboratory settings where I was responsible for performing routine tests and experiments, interpreting data, maintaining precise conditions, and keeping an organized, efficient environment. I’m deeply process-oriented and always look for ways to make complex information more understandable.

I’ve also developed a deep personal interest in microscopy since 2023. I’ve spent time outside of work exploring the microscopic world and expanding my knowledge in biology through hands-on experience. This hobby helps me stay engaged with science in a creative, visual way. In addition to this, I self-study microbiological concepts and material that extend beyond my learning in undergrad.

My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on building understanding step-by-step so that your child doesn’t just memorize material but truly gets it down. I provide handwritten work, worksheets, and visual explanations to reinforce learning, and I aim to create a positive space where students feel safe asking questions and trying again.
