Prior to commencing my career as a faculty member, I worked as a writing tutor at a university Learning Center and as a tutor/counselor at the University of California, Los Angeles. Described as a "passionate" instructor, I love the English language and the study of literature. I also take great pride in facilitating the development of student's analytic, interpretation, critical thinking, and writing skills, which are essential to their educational success.
