Hi, I recently graduated from California State University, Fresno, with a B.S. in Computer Engineering, a minor in Mathematics, and a 3.6 GPA. My education gave me a strong background in math, programming, problem solving, and technical subjects. I completed coursework in calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, computer programming, embedded systems, and engineering projects. These experiences helped me build the skills needed to explain difficult ideas clearly and work through problems step by step.
I specialize in math and programming-related subjects, including algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and introductory programming concepts. I can also help students with homework support, problem solving, and study skills. My tutoring style is patient, clear, and supportive. When I work with a student, I first try to understand what part of the problem is confusing. Then I break the topic into smaller parts and explain the reasoning behind each step. I focus on helping students understand the “why” instead of only memorizing formulas or answers. I can also explain concepts in both English and Spanish, which can be helpful for students who are more comfortable learning in either language.
Although I am still building my professional tutoring experience, I have helped classmates and peers understand math, programming, and engineering concepts in one-on-one and group settings. I also gained leadership and communication experience through college engineering projects, including a student prosthetic hand project where I helped organize team communication and explain technical ideas between group members. I encourage students to send me the topic, assignment, or questions they want to work on before each lesson so I can be prepared. Please feel free to contact me if you would like help with math, programming concepts, or study support.
