As a dedicated neuroscience student and researcher, I understand that certain scientific subjects can be completing fascinating yet baffling at the same time. As an Honor student at both my undergraduate and graduate university, I know first hand that dedication to learning brings many opportunities well worth the investment of time and effort. Finding the best way to study for these subjects, however, can often be difficult and demotivating, a process that might require a little help!

As a dedicated neuroscience student and researcher, I understand that certain scientific subjects can be completing fascinating yet baffling at the same time. As an Honor student at both my undergraduate and graduate university, I know first hand that dedication to learning brings many opportunities well worth the investment of time and effort. Finding the best way to study for these subjects, however, can often be difficult and demotivating, a process that might require a little help!

I tutor biology for high school students and physiology, two subjects I have studied extensively and researched at a graduate level. Additionally, my experience in neuroscience research has required me to write numerous scientific articles, two of which have been published and a third which is currently in the final stage of editing. For this reason, I also offer tutoring and proof reading services for scientific writing (research papers, specifically for high school or university students).

These are my principal areas of interest. My aim is to help students approach the daunting task of studying scientific subjects and writing research papers with a systematic approach. I focus on maximizing organisation of ideas and creating an effective way of understanding the material, not just memorizing facts (an approach that overlooks the true value of studying these subjects).

I am also willing to tutor in Spanish and French. I am a native speaker of Spanish as well as a proficient speaker of French, having earned a minor in French Language Studies as an undergraduate.

I try to be flexible with time. I am available to tutor very late at night or early morning if required.

I do have a 24 hour cancellation notice but offer makeup classes.
