Hi there! I'm Jayden, and I love helping students gain confidence in a wide range of subjects by making learning engaging, relatable, and stress-free. My goal is to break down complex concepts into clear, easy-to-understand ideas so students feel empowered rather than frustrated.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Throughout my education, I applied math, science, writing, and technology skills to real-world problem-solving, gaining a deep understanding of how these subjects connect to everyday life. As a Teaching Assistant (TA), I worked with students in small groups and one-on-one, helping them master difficult concepts, improve problem-solving abilities, and develop strong study habits. My tutoring experience spans elementary through high school, where I’ve helped students build foundational skills, prepare for exams, and gain confidence in their academic abilities.

I tutor a wide range of subjects, including:

Math: Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Math
Science: Elementary Science
English & Writing: Reading, Grammar, Writing, Literature, Proofreading, Spelling, Vocabulary
Technology: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Windows
My teaching approach is flexible and personalized—I adapt my lessons to match each student’s learning style and academic goals. Whether you need step-by-step explanations, hands-on practice, test-taking strategies, or help with organization and study skills, I’ll tailor our sessions to maximize your understanding and boost your confidence. I also love incorporating real-world examples to make lessons more engaging and meaningful.

Above all, I want to help you feel confident in your abilities and realize that learning doesn’t have to be frustrating—it can be fun and rewarding! If you're looking for a tutor who’s patient, supportive, and truly invested in your success, let’s connect. I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals and beyond!
