I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry and have extensive experience teaching students of all age groups. Since 2012, I have been teaching at various institutions, including engineering and community colleges, gaining comprehensive experience across all levels of college-level chemistry courses. I have taught General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry (both lecture and lab) multiple times at community colleges in San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and Orange Counties. Additionally, I hold a certification in “Teaching in Community Colleges” from California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH).
Beyond my teaching experience in schools and colleges, I have research experience from the pharmaceutical industry and the University of Southern California. Teaching is a passion of mine, as I greatly enjoy the satisfaction of helping students improve their grades through a deeper understanding of the subject.
As an educator, I understand the pressures that school and college teachers face in completing the syllabus within a given academic year, which often leaves students with lingering uncertainties. This is where a tutor can make a difference—by patiently explaining topics thoroughly and providing relatable, real-life examples. This approach helps students develop an interest in the subject and understand its importance. As a result, students begin improving from within. From official reviews and feedback from my students, I have come to believe that I have the capability to be an effective tutor. My tutoring sessions are centered on patience, a deep interest in the subject, and a commitment to explaining concepts with practical exercises until the student fully grasps them.
