I am a current Veterinary student with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, and my academic journey has taught me exactly what it takes to succeed in rigorous STEM coursework. Having balanced a demanding science load with multiple volunteer and internship commitments, I’ve developed the high-level time-management and study skills necessary to thrive in competitive environments. My professional background as a Program Director and Lead Tutor in a school district has given me a deep understanding of diverse learning styles and academic needs. I know firsthand how frustrating it can be when a complex concept doesn’t click, which is why I focus on efficient, realistic study strategies that help students succeed without feeling overwhelmed. I am proud to have helped many of my students see significant transformations—often raising their grades from a D or F to an A within a single semester.

My approach to tutoring is both diagnostic and holistic. We begin each lesson by identifying specific concepts that are challenging and, more importantly, understanding why they are difficult for the student. From there, we review foundational material to ensure core concepts are fully understood before moving forward, preventing gaps in knowledge from piling up. Our first session serves as a consultation where we map out a custom learning plan tailored to your student's specific pace. Beyond just reviewing content in subjects like Integrated Math, Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, and Biology, I focus on teaching active recall and study habits that I honed throughout my own Vet School journey. My goal is to rebuild a student's confidence and provide them with the strategic tools they need to turn academic frustration into long-term success.
