Hello! My name is Navid, and I am an incoming first-year at Yale Law School. Before enrolling in law school, I spent three years as an investment banking analyst, working on transactions in aggregate of $10bn+. I spent my first year working at a boutique across restructuring and M&A. Subsequently, I joined an elite boutique within their restructuring practice focusing on debt financings, equity issuances, liability management, and restructurings for distressed companies. Before investment banking, I graduated from Yale College (cum laude) with an undergraduate degree in political science (distinction in the major).
My tutoring focuses primarily on finance, career development, and admissions counseling. For finance and career development tutoring, I draw on my multiple years of full-time experience in the investment banking industry, numerous internships completed during my collegiate career, and my experience navigating multiple internship recruiting cycles, a full-time recruiting cycle, and a lateral recruiting cycle. During my time as an analyst, I got top-tier reviews because I had been thoughtful about how to prepare and grow in the role, and I hope to share that experience with others seeking to improve their career prospects.
