I am a California Credentialed Mathematics Teacher and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. I currently teach high school mathematics in California and have over 15 years of experience helping students succeed in mathematics across a wide range of levels, from elementary and middle school through high school, college coursework, and standardized test preparation. My background combines strong mathematical knowledge with proven classroom and tutoring experience, allowing me to support students with everything from foundational skills to advanced topics such as Calculus, Statistics, and SAT Math.
Throughout my career, I have worked with students in both classroom and one-to-one settings, helping them build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and achieve their academic goals. I have experience teaching Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, and competition mathematics. In addition, I have successfully supported students preparing for SAT, ACT, AP, and college-level mathematics courses. My teaching approach focuses on identifying each student's strengths and areas for growth, then developing personalized lessons that make challenging concepts clear, manageable, and engaging.
I believe that every student can succeed in mathematics when provided with the right support and guidance. My lessons emphasize conceptual understanding rather than memorization, enabling students to develop the confidence and independence needed for long-term success. Whether I am helping an elementary student build a strong foundation, supporting a high school student preparing for an important exam, or assisting a college student with advanced coursework, my goal is always the same: to help students understand mathematics deeply, improve their performance, and develop confidence in their abilities.
