Hello! I have spent my career helping students of all ages find confidence and success in their learning. I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and I am currently working toward my Master of Science in Teaching and Learning at CSU Global. My education has given me a strong foundation in how children learn best, and my experience has shown me how important it is to meet each student where they are.

Throughout my career, I have taught in classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one settings, supporting students from kindergarten through high school. Much of my work has been with children who have learning differences and students who struggle with focus, anxiety, or have other special needs. My background includes working with students on the Autism spectrum and students with intellectual disabilities. I believe in breaking down big tasks into smaller steps, modeling strategies, and celebrating progress to keep students motivated. I also bring humor and creativity into lessons, because learning should feel encouraging, not overwhelming!

Parents often tell me that I am patient, understanding, and able to connect with their child in a way that makes learning less stressful. Whether I am helping a struggling reader build fluency, guiding a student through a tough math problem, or giving gentle encouragement to stay focused, I make sure my students feel supported. With more than 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I am committed to helping every child grow not only academically but also in confidence and independence.
