I have a B.S. in Statistics and Data Science (UC Santa Barbara) and an M.S. in Computer Science through Georgia Tech. In my professional work from 2021–2025, I built and supported Excel-based reporting and automation used in real business workflows, including healthcare pricing and operations. At UnitedHealthcare, I owned production support and enhancements for an underwriting pricing workflow spanning Excel/VBA, Access, and SQL Server, and I automated Excel model integrations with robust validation and error handling.
My teaching experience is primarily one-on-one and small-group coaching with adult learners in a workplace setting. In these roles, I regularly helped analysts and business stakeholders fix slow or fragile spreadsheets, reconcile mismatched totals, clean and reshape data, simplify formulas, and automate repetitive steps so the process is faster and less error-prone.
My approach is practical and “learn by doing”: we start with the student’s goal and current file, make the smallest changes that create the biggest time savings, and I explain the logic in plain language so they can repeat it confidently after the session.
